I sing my own stuff in mix sets if there is a mic and if not is not, I'll still play my own stuff with other beats from around the world. I go under the name "Vav Jungle" on iTunes and have some albums there for download under that name and a new album not yet released which will be under the name "DJBeekeeni" which will be a first under that name. I began doing this a few years ago at "Cream Gallery" and "Urban Waves" in Winnipeg. I like to remix and add my own touches to create crazy dance environments - electro-mix with klesmer to 60's Bollywood, TV themes, disco, old top 40, whatever - anything is fodder but make it danceable in the end. I select tunes that I like. The did a remix for the comedic synth-pop trio "The Superions" (Fred Schneider of the B52s, Noah Brodie and Dan Marshall). The remix is for "Batbaby" and available on iTunes and Amazon along with DJs Umpff and Butterface. Just in time for Halloweenie!
